Thanksgiving Turkey Drive
As part of our efforts to support families in our communities we participate in adopt a family every year. Through Santa’s Elves in Denver, CO, we adopted a family of five and made their holiday amazing.
Sherpas participate in a wide variety of activities to support and build a healthy and nurturing community. Through our charitable donations and our volunteer efforts, we build stronger relationships within each of our communities and establish relationships with community leaders.

In the month of June, Sherpas are volunteering in local parks and public spaces as part of the Sherpas Giving month. The theme this year is “The Great Outdoors”. As part of this effort, Sherpas finding ways to give back to their local communities through various outdoor volunteer activities.
For eight years, Florida State University had been hosting a generous and well-received walk for the fallen commemorating 2LT Justin Sisson. Due to the pandemic and expected cadet turnover each year, Justin’s parents expressed fear that his event was beginning to be forgotten.
We have an amazing Sherpa, Pam Hamilton, who gives back on a daily basis by creating unique quilts for adults and children in need. Her participation in Project Linus brings happiness and hope to children throughout the country. She also quilts for Hope to Home project, a charity that places homeless in new housing.

In 2020, Sherpa 6 hosted a nationwide turkey and food drive to support families in need. We chose three organizations in our corporate and satellite locations to organize food drives with and we knocked it out of the park!
