During this past holiday season, Sherpa 6 was able to support an Afghanistan refugee family during Thanksgiving as well as a second family local to Denver during Thanksgiving and Christmas.
In November, Sherpa 6 held a Food Drive to help two families. We were able to send over $200 in gift cards to the Afghanistan refugee family to purchase food.
We also sent over $200 to the second family local to Denver and provided them with a Thanksgiving Dinner which included two turkeys and all the trimmings as well as crayons for the eleven kids to keep them busy!
In December, we came together and donated gifts to the same local Denver family with eleven kids. We did this through toys and clothes for the kids and gift cards for the adults.
It was truly a group effort to provide these families with the resources to have a memorable Holiday Season.
