HERMES is a Hardened Edge Media Extension System that closes the FPV-to-ATAK gap, delivering low-latency, survivable video from the tactical edge to ATAK users, partner forces, and remote decision-makers — even when the network is contested. A wearable, GPU-accelerated edge node ingests analog FPV and digital video from sub-$500 UAS, normalizes it into RTSP, SRT, and TCP, and routes it through a bonded WAN stack of LTE/5G, MANET, SATCOM, Starlink, and Wi-Fi with dynamic fallback and forward error correction.
